About Us
Merry-go-Round Ltd is situated in a large, pleasant church hall in the centre of Weybridge. It has the benefit of a garden additional for outdoor activities. The park is an easy walk away along a footpath and is used on occasions to provide additional outdoor play and to explore the world around us.
We aim to provide a stimulating and caring environment in which each child can develop emotionally, socially and intellectually through play, games and rhymes as well as developing motor skills. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage. Every child is treated as an individual and is helped to develop fully at his or her own pace.
We have a well-qualified and experienced staff and the child ratio is never greater than 6:1. The staff work as a team to provide balanced, creative, learning atmosphere and are always available to answer any questions you may have. We operate a keyworker scheme: every child has a designated member of staff who takes a special interest in them.
All the children share a morning break with milk/water and a biscuit/fruit.
WE ARE APPROVED FOR NURSERY EDUCATIONAL GRANT FROM SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL, & FEET FUNDING which is currently available up to five sessions per week.
We have regular Ofsted inspections.
We have introductory mornings for all children who are registered with us before they start at Merry-go-Round. The children become familiar with the building, staff and some of the morning routine
We operate an 'OPEN-DOOR' policy and parents are welcome within the group. We are delighted to show visitors around, this being the best way to see how we work. No appointments needed.
